Kevin A Bostic
My passion for numbers began decades ago as an avid Atlantic Coast Conference basketball fan. Before the rise of Excel, I would keep stats of my favorite players by hand in a spiral notebook. As the years passed rebounds, steals and assists were replaced with volatility, standard deviation and return percentages. I realized the investment industry was where I wanted to be, and in 2004 accepted a position with a well-known regional brokerage firm in Richmond, VA.
Through various experiences I learned how the industry worked and realized my clients would be better served if I started my own firm. Therefore, I embarked on a new journey in 2011 by establishing Bostic Financial. After a few years, it was clear something was still missing. In 2015, I was fortunate to meet Ryan Harris and as fate would have it we seemed to provide the solution to what the other was in search of. So in February of 2016, we combined forces to start ClearView Financial, LLC.
Every day, I am thankful for having formed ClearView with Ryan. With a partner that shares the same values and vision as I do, I have no doubt ClearView Financial will continue to grow and make a real difference to our clients. Outside of work, my wife, Lindsey, and I enjoy spending time with our children, Madison and Marshall. When not keeping up with the kids, which is rare, I enjoy cooking, golf and of course keeping up with ACC basketball stats.
